Dear Friends

We greet you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Just an update to let you know how well the children are doing at Beth Hatlaim.

First of all we want to thank you very much for your prayer support and your abundant love shown towards us. If ever we needed the grace of God it is now! It is a funny thing, always in a time of recession the work of the Lord seems to suffer first and foremost, doesn’t it? I thank God for each one of you and the Lord Himself undertakes for us faithfully every single day. In fact, if we look at James 1:27 the Bible says, ‘Is this not pure religion, to take care of the widows and the orphans’.

Our children are doing so well. Two of our boys, Daniel and Lungisane, had their 21st birthdays recently. They have now left home and are now working and studying. Our oldest boy, Levit, now 22, has just got a small part in a movie, so his movie and acting career seem to be taking off very nicely. One of our other boys, Velaphi, has been chosen for athletics, we have had to buy him a brand new pair of spikes and he is so excited about that! He is also playing in a seven-a-side rugby tournament which is coming up.

It is hard to believe that two thirds of the year has already passed but, by His grace, we continue to live with much joy (these children bring us so much joy) and much faith. We are confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in this children’s home will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil.1:6.

Please continue to pray for us! Thank you for your friendship, it means so much to us.

Yours in Christ
Angus & Jill and the Beth Hatlaim team
