PRAYER LETTER – November 2013

Dear Prayer Partner,

We are nearing the end of another year, a year of great turmoil and a year of great success. Although we all are adversely affected by the suffering that is in the world, we are all the more encouraged by the fact that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which awaits us. Let us rejoice that in the presence of the Lord is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore.

We have the pleasure of witnessing the great work that Holy Spirit commenced this year in the USA and more particularly in and near Nashville, Tennessee, where the first Mighty Men Conference was held. Let us give thanks to the Lord for Allen Jackson, senior pastor of World Outreach Church, Murfreesboro, who obeyed the Holy Spirit to invite Angus to minister the Word of God at the first and second Mighty Men Conferences held in the USA during May and November. More than 20 000 men attended the two conferences, where most of them committed their lives to the Lord and undertook to be Godly husbands, fathers and children in their respective homes.

This is a short but powerful testimony of a grateful wife “I am not a mighty man but I love the mighty men organization. Because of the conference in Bridgeton, Nashville Sunday night I have my husband back! “

Let us pray together for Christianmen all over the world, asking the Lord in particular for the following:

  • As husbands, they shall love their wives just as Christ loved his bride (the church) and gave Himself for her (unto death)

  • As fathers, they will not provoke their children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord

  • As leaders in the community, they will be known to be honest, blameless, well balanced, sober-minded, of good behaviour and hospitable

  • As spiritual leaders, they will walk in the Spirit in order that the fruit of the Spirit may been seen in their lives

Let us thank the Lord for Angus and Jill and their commitment to Him. Let us give thanks for Angus and his willingness to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ wherever he has been called to preach by the Holy Spirit. Let us also ask the Lord to:-

  • Protect them against the onslaught of the evil forces of this world and the schemes of the devil.

  • Supply in all their needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

  • Give them His peace which is beyond understanding.

  • Grant them the rest that they need in order that they may be refreshed for the work whereunto He has called them.

On behalf of Angus I want to thank you for your participation and prayer support. May the Lord bless you with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ.
