Glad Tidings

What an incredible privilege it is to be able to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord tells us clearly in three places, first of all in the book of Isaiah 52:7, then again in the book of Nahum 1:15, and finally, in the book of Romans 10:15.

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

The Lord Jesus clearly states that we need to bring glad tidings of good things to this old world, which is suffering so much at the moment.

And what is that good news?

It is that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming again, and that is what we need to remember at this Easter time!

For me personally, this celebration of Christ’s death and resurrection is the most important time in the Christian calendar. It says in Philippians 3:10:

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death

Let’s go out today, and where we walk, whether it be on the mountains or in the valleys, let us share the good news - that we have hope in the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
