Do Not Mock God!

Acts 8:21 (NKJV)

You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.

Early this morning, while having my quiet time, I read something very special out of an old devotional. It was written by a man by the name of F Whitfield.  “The worst of all mockeries is a religion that leaves the heart unchanged: a religion that has everything, but the love of Christ enshrined in the soul.“

Very powerful words, and unfortunately, in many cases, it happens to be the truth.

We must stop telling people we love Jesus, and rather show them that we love Jesus by our lifestyle, and by our actions.

In fact, I would go so far as to say, that more damage is done in the kingdom of God by people who profess to call themselves Christians, and yet have never met Jesus Christ personally.

Today, let us check our hearts, and ask the Lord to fill us with His love for this poor, dying world that is so desperate to meet our beloved Saviour!
