Ambassadors

2 Corinthians 5:20 (Amp):

So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.

You and I have been called to be walking epistles (letters) so that people can read us when we walk down the street.  Some people might only ever meet Jesus Christ through our behaviour, example, attitude, and most of all love. We need to walk the talk. 

In 1 Peter 1:16, the Lord God Himself says, “Be holy, because I am holy.”  What does holy mean? Well one definition of the word Holy is, “Holiness is the end product of obedience.” Therefore, when we walk in holiness, we are good ambassadors for the Lord Jesus Christ.  Let’s do that today!
