Before You Speak
As we embark upon a well deserved Christmas holiday with family and loved ones, we really need to measure our words. If you haven't got anything good to say about someone, then rather don't say anything.
Emotions can run high at Christmas time with expectations, long awaited reunions, etc.
God says: “Let your words be few”, Ecclesiastes 5:2. He says don't be rash with your mouth, in other words, don't be like the proverbial ‘bull in a china shop’.
Count to ten before you spout off, and then regret what you have said and spoil a relationship. Yes, rather exercise much love and grace and save a friendship!
Ask yourself one question before you speak: “What would Jesus do?”. Then go ahead and do exactly that.
Remember God is in Heaven and we are on Earth, keep your opinions in check.
God Bless,
