Pure & Simple

I am busy at the moment in my quiet time, reading from the book of 1 Timothy, and it is very interesting to note how Paul the Apostle is so concerned for his young spiritual son in the faith, Timothy.

That Timothy pays no attention to any foreign doctrine, but that he keeps to the basics of Christianity which is love, from a pure heart and from a good conscience, and from a sincere faith. 1 Tim 1:5.

My dear friend I firmly believe that this very morning, Jesus is cautioning us to keep our faith pure and simple.

In other words, if it is not in the Bible, do not adhere to it. Remember you are not interested in my opinion, it’s only Gods opinion that will help!
