Where is their God?
Joel 2 :17
Let us not allow people to mock our God any longer because of the compromised lifestyle we live. Saying all the correct things, even quoting scripture but not following through with practical living!
Father please have mercy on us, we are such a self-centered people, extremely selfish and as a result we cause the people of the world to look at us with such confusion because of what they see. Because so often our lifestyle does not seem to match up with what we are saying!
“They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him…” Titus 1:16 (NKJV)
The hypocritical lifestyle we are living - saying all the right things but not in anyway living them out, it is this outlook and way of life that makes unbelievers say among themselves: “Where is their God?”
Holy Spirit please help us to rend our hearts and not our garments. Let us stop telling our loved ones and our neighbours that we love them, and yet persist with our own selfish agendas. Rather, let us show them by our actions and self-denial, that we truly love them by preferring them to ourselves .
Amen . Mercy please Jesus.
