He Rescued Me
“He brought me out into a beautiful broad place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.”
It is as if our Heavenly Father sees us trapped in a swirling watery place, where our enemies are about to drown us, and God has plucked us out and set us in a safe place, put us on high ground that is dry.
Why we might very well ask?
Well, quite simply, because He delights in us. He rewards us for doing what is right and for staying pure. We need to keep focused on His holy words and obey all of His statutes, and he will not only defend us but also rescue us from the onslaught of compromise and blatant evil in the world.
Like never before Father God is watching over His faithful people, and he will by no means allow us to drown, but will bring us out into a 'broad place' because He delights in us.
“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
