Half Full or Half Empty?
Romans 8:28 (AMP)
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
What a beautiful promise from God. Now, do we believe it, or do we reject it? It's like a glass of water that is half full. Is it half empty, or is it half full? Well, it depends on which way we look at it. I choose to believe that it is always half full. The Bible has told us clearly that Jesus is on our side. If Christ is for you, no man can stand against you. Romans 8:31
As a farmer, I have realised this many times in my life. When things are looking bleak, I look up. Psalm 121:1-2
From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Every single time, the Lord comes through for me. Not always in the way that I expect. For example, I might have an inferior crop one year. But the prices for the commodity go through the roof because everybody has a poor crop, and it's very scarce. In the end, I could still cover all my costs and have enough money for the following year. However, sometimes I've had an absolute bumper crop, but everybody else also had a bumper crop, so the price plummeted, and I barely made ends meet.
Today, don't look at your situation. Look at the Lord Jesus Christ, who controls all things, especially for His children.
Jesus bless you
