Childlike Faith
Matthew 18:1-4 NKJV
At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
The Lord is looking for childlike faith. In other words: “The Lord said it, we believe it and that settles it”, as spoken by the Yorkshire plumber from England, Smith Wigglesworth so many years ago.
We need to uncomplicate things. Remember what we always say, educators complicate but communicators simplify. This week, let us simplify everything we can. There is enough complication in this world as it is. Let us love the Lord, let us love our neighbour and let us be kind to ourselves.
Jesus bless you
