But God
While sitting in my prayer room, I was reflecting on the miracle working power of our Lord Jesus Christ, He truly does answer the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man. James 5:1
I remember, like yesterday, being in Potchefstroom, which is on the Western side of our beloved country South Africa. I was speaking to a hall packed full of young students from the Northwest University. In the middle of my sermon, I heard a commotion coming from the back of the hall. I didn’t know what was happening, I had to actually stop preaching because of the noise that was escalating. I asked the ushers that were standing at the base of the platform, to please find out what the problem was, they came back and said, there has been a miracle healing.
I saw two ladies walking down the centre aisle, they were weeping uncontrollably, with their hands raised up in the air. I asked them to come up on the platform. They stood there and the one lady said that she had come there that night (remember they weren’t students, they weren’t invited) with her friend in a wheelchair. Her friend had had a massive stroke and was totally paralysed down the one side and here she was walking on her own, with her hands raised. I asked the lady to move her arm, the arm that was paralysed, it was perfectly normal and through tear and tears, God has healed us.
I realised yet again: “But God!” When people say to you, it can’t happen, your answer is: “But God!” The Lord can split the Red Sea into two and take a complete nation through a dry riverbed as it were. He did it twice. He did it at the river Jordan as well. He can heal your sickness, He can set you free. Today put your trust totally in Him and pray without ceasing.
Jesus bless you.
