We Need To Watch And Pray

We need to watch and pray.

The Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus will come in the clouds.

He will come suddenly just like a woman who is pregnant.

Those labor pains come suddenly without any warning.

We need to watch and be sober, the Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 and verse 6.

The Bible tells us that we need to be vigilant because the Lord will come like a thief in the night, without any warning.

As a farmer, I find this parable that Jesus told the disciples, very interesting.

In Luke chapter 12 and verse 16, The Lord says,

“The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.

And he thought within himself saying, ‘What shall I do since I have no room to store my crops”.

So he said, “I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.

And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink and be merry.”

But God said to him, “Fool! This night your soul will be required of you;…”

I want to say to you right at the last page of my bible, the book of Revelation, the last book in the bible and the last verse,

I have written something to remind myself and this is what I have written.

“Keep short accounts with man and with God for the time is now very short”.

I really want to encourage you to take stock.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be in this lockdown time, for us to sit down and ponder our future.

Are you ready if the Lord was to call you tonight.

You know I’m a cloud watcher because the bible tells us that Jesus is coming in the clouds to take us home to be with Him in Paradise and we need to be ready.

Are you ready?

Think about what the Lord is telling you today.

It’s not a fearful thing, it’s very exciting and encouraging thing if you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior.
