Let Us Be Kind

If we look at the Word of God, in the Book of Leviticus, Chapter 26 and verse 12,  The Lord has promised us, His people, that He will walk among you, and be your God and you shall be My people.

Verse 13:

“I am The Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt that you should not be their slaves;  I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.”

Wonderful news!

2 Corinthians, Chapter 5 and verse 17 says:

“And if any man be in Christ Jesus , he is a new creation. Old things have passed away and behold all things have become new."

Today, we need to realise that the past is forgotten and it is forgiven.

You know, when God, through Jesus Christ, forgives, He forgets.

And you might say, “But Lord, You know that thing that I did that I wasn't very proud of a couple of years ago,?"

He says: " No, I don't remember!  What did you do?"

And we need to be the same.

We need to be merciful.

We need to show grace to those who are struggling at this time.

We have good news and the good news is that if Christ be for us, there is no man that can stand against us  Romans Chapter 8 and verse 31.

So today as we go about our work, whatever it is we are doing, let us remember that we are God's people and He is our God.

And that is fantastic news!

The old things have gone.

They are passed away!  We are new people in Christ Jesus!

We are a new creation and so we need to be merciful.

Some people might be getting on your nerves at the moment.

Maybe you are in that lockdown situation where you can't get out anywhere but you need to trust in The Lord and you need to remember that this season will not last.

It is passing by as I speak to you now because Christ Jesus has promised us that He will never leave us and that He will never forsake us.

You see, God is not a man like you and me.

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor the son of man, that He should repent.  Has He not said it , will He not do it ? Has He not spoken, and will He not make it good?”  Numbers Chapter 23 v 19.

So today let's be merciful to those who do not know Him.

Let us be gracious and let us be kind.
