Simple People

Isaiah 66:2

For all those things My hand has made,
And all those things exist,”
Says the Lord.
“But on this one will I look:
On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit,
And who trembles at My word.

My Heavenly Father is looking for men and women who are of a simple, and obedient spirit.

He really doesn’t need anything from us because He says heaven is His throne. The earth is His footstool. He says there is no house that you and I can build for Him, for everything that you and I see, He has already made.

So today, let us go into the world and love God’s people, let us make people “hearers from God”, and not hearers of ourselves.

Our beloved Lord Jesus wants you and I, and not what we can do for Him.  He is looking for repentant hearts, who are humble, with a plain and simple desire to serve Him, and Him alone.

There is nothing we can do for Him, because He has done it all anyway!

This day, He wants us, and us alone, and not what we think we can do to please or to impress Him.

Jesus requires intimate fellowship with Him today and every day, and that’s all. Therefore let’s walk humbly and simply with our God!
