No Turning Back

I want to wish all our beloved sisters and brothers in Jesus Christ, a very special 2024 and that everything that you do and say this year, will bring glory to Jesus’ name.

The Lord has been impressing upon me today the scripture found in Luke 9:62

But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

You and I need to push forward now and leave all the things of 2023 behind us.  There are many hurts, many misunderstandings, many mistakes, a lot of us are also mourning, having lost loved ones in 2023. We have to move forward now and look to the Lord alone.

As an old farmer, I know when you put your hand to that plough, you’ve got to keep looking ahead. If you start looking behind you, you start ploughing in a line, which is totally off centre. And that little line that you plough first, if its not rectified, by the time you get to the end of the field, it looks like a snake and it’s supposed to be straight. 

Let us press forward now and let us look unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
