Little Things

If we go to the Word of God in Luke 19:17 (NKJV), the Bible says:

And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’

We need to be good stewards of the little things that God gives us to do.  When we become neglectful and careless in little things, then eventually we start becoming careless in bigger things. 

People are watching us all the time, especially when we speak about the Lord Jesus Christ and His faithfulness. They want to see it in our own lives.  They want us to be people that they can positively depend upon, people who get to a meeting on time, people who honour the Lord by paying their debts promptly, people who don’t break engagements, who always keep their promises, people who are dependable. That is probably a greater witness to the Lord than a one-off mighty act of faith.
