Watch What You Say

Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Hosea 10:12

Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord,
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

It is essential to be careful what we say because there is tremendous power in our words. Remember, the Lord used the example of the rudder of a ship. A mighty ship has a tiny rudder you can't even see.
It's beneath the water, yet that rudder will determine where that massive ocean-going vessel is heading. Without the rudder, the ship has no direction. If we speak with negative words, it is equivalent to that ship running onto the rocks and being totally destroyed.

I remember somebody telling me once, that if you have nothing good to say about someone, you shouldn't say anything at all.
Remember those two cardinal words: "But God." When somebody says: "You'll never make it", you say: "But God." And if someone says: "You won't get your degree at the end of this year", you say: "But God."
When someone says: "You won't make it", or "Your farm is doomed because of the drought", you say: "But God." I have been saying that for over 40 years, and I want to tell you it is true. We can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us.

Have a wonderful day. Jesus bless you.
