The World Belongs to God

The other day, when Father God showed me very clearly in the following scripture verses that the whole World actually belongs to Him alone [Psalm  50:12, and Exodus 19:5], it came as such a beautiful relief and joy to my heart and soul!

In other words we are not owners of the land or any of its contents, or even our very lives, but purely managers.

It takes the pressure off in terms of that huge responsibility that we feel is ours - to perform, to produce, and to deliver!
You see, that is a direct ploy of the evil one: to get us on the treadmill and keep us there until he literally kills us with worry and work responsibilities.

The good news for you and me today is that it all belongs to Jesus. Even our very own lives and troubles [John 3:16] are His responsibility, and as a result, all that you and I have to do is just what He tells us to do, nothing more and nothing less.

What liberty, what joy, what peace. Remember the old song, ''He's got the whole world in His hands, the whole wide world in His hands, and He's got you and me, brother, in His hands…”

Therefore why are we stressing and worrying, when it all belongs to Him anyway? And furthermore, Jesus has never ever failed and He never will.

So today let us enjoy that with which He has entrusted us, and leave the ultimate burden of ownership entirely in His gracious hands.
