The Living Word of God
As I sat in my favourite place last Friday, my quiet time room early in the morning, the birds had just started to sing and the cows were calling to their calves to come and drink. It was truly a very special time for me, most of all to be with my beloved Lord Jesus!
When opening my Bible and reading it systematically, God spoke to me almost audibly through the book of Romans 15:25, where the Apostle Paul says: “But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints”.
Bearing in mind that I was about to leave the Shalom Farm in South Africa, to travel to Jerusalem, Israel, to minister to the saints!
We are hosting an 'It’s Time' prayer meeting on the southern steps of the Temple Mount, to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).
That is no coincidence. It is a direct confirmation from Jesus Christ that I am in the right place at the right time - doing the right thing. Do you know what absolute confidence I receive when I get a clear mandate from God like that?
We don’t have to do any thumb-sucking or hoping for the best to make the right decisions in life. All we need to do is spend time with Jesus every morning before we start the day. When we give God first place, each new day, we will not make so many poor decisions. People will even perceive us to be wise.
Give Him lots of quality time and He will light up your path and direct you in the right way. Psalm 119:105
God Bless,
