No Fear!
The Word of God states so clearly that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
As I write this letter, there is a very dear man and his wife who are asking for a miracle from God this morning. He has come from very far - he has cancer and wants prayer for healing. The first thing we shall pray against is the spirit of fear. Fear comes straight from the pit of hell! It immobilises us so that we cannot even think straight. Just like the snake with its prey, the little mouse, who could quite easily just run away from the predator. But the mouse becomes paralysed with fear and is at the mercy of the snake.
We shall pray for the completely opposite attitude and stand against the spirit of fear. We pray that Father God will give the sick man a spirit of faith! In Luke 17:5 the Apostles said to the Lord: “Increase our faith!”. We shall join our faith with his faith and believe for total healing in his body today.
“Faith the size of a mustard seed will move a huge mountain.”
Now what about you today, and your take on the Coronavirus? We must conform to whatever the authorities have stipulated. But our ultimate trust as believers is firmly cemented in God’s Holy Word! (Psalm 20:7) some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
Jesus is still the Healer - that fact has never changed! That is where our hope lies, so today we shall anoint with oil, and pray the prayer of faith over this dear man who has cancer, and we believe that Jesus Christ will heal him completely (Mark 11:24).
Focus on the Miracle Worker today, and not on Coronavirus.
