Tell The Truth
Reading the Book of Esther we see how the evil man, Haman, was a compulsive liar.
"And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!”
So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.”Esther 7:6 (NKJV)
Be sure that your sins will always find you out. When we tell lies we have to have a good memory because we have to remember all the lies we told before, so that they add up... But of course, sin will always find you out. The Bible tells us, clearly, in the Book of Romans:
"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 3:23 (NKJV)
But the Good News is also found in Romans:
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans: 6:23 (NKJV)
So today as you go out and tell the truth. That’s all you’ve got to do and once you’ve told the truth there’s no more that anyone can do to you. Don’t try to justify your sin, don’t tell lies like Haman did because he ended up being hung on the very scaffold that he built himself to hang Mordecai on - We really need to walk the talk.
Jesus bless you as you have a wonderful day.
