Beware

If we look at the Word of God in Matthew 7:15 (NKJV) Jesus says: 

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

Today I want to really speak to you about the importance of getting into the Bible.  It is the only thing that will help us to discern the difference between sheep and wolves. As the scripture indicates, there are wolves but they’ve got sheep’s clothing on, so it’s very difficult to find out the truth from the false. The only way to do it is through the Word of God, the Bible.  As you know we have invested a lot of money at Shalom Ministries to bring in a huge consignment of Bibles from overseas. It is the New King James Version, with one of my devotionals running right through it from Genesis to Revelation, obviously not touching the text of the Bible.  Now I am not just promoting this particular translation, but what I am asking you to consider is:

·      be careful about who you are listening to

·      be careful about what you are listening to

·      be very careful what you are reading

We are encouraging you here at Shalom Ministries to get back into the Word of God, it is the only thing that will show you true North from true South, it is our compass.  It is the Bread of Life.  Psalm 119:105:

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
