Quickly

Revelation 22:7

“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

Our Lord Jesus emphasises the point, because he repeats himself in verse, 20, by saying, , “Surely I am coming quickly.”

Maybe you are reading this letter and thinking, I’ve heard this before, in fact, it was stated many hundreds of years ago and the Lord has not come yet.

We need to be very careful how we speak, because today, for you and I, could be the last day of our lives here on earth. We could walk out of the front door of our house and be knocked over by a truck, and then face the Lord immediately.

We need to be ready for the coming of the Lord. Whether He comes back in all His glory to take the believers home, or we meet Him at the end of our time here on earth, is immaterial.

What is vital is that you and I are ready to face Him when He calls us.

Let’s get our house in order today, and say with confidence: “Come, Lord Jesus come!”
