Walk the Talk

John 17:19 (NKJV)

And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

Jesus Himself said that He sanctifies Himself, in other words purifies Himself, for the sake of you and I.  In other words, He makes Himself an example for us to follow by the way in which He lived.

We don’t do our best for ourselves only, but for the sake of those in the world.  That is probably the best way that we can help our fellow man is by being a living example for them, walking the talk.  That’s what Phillips Brooks said, you can help your fellow man by being the nobelist and best man that it is possible for you to be.
