All Sufficient
2 Corinthians 12:9, NKJV the Lord says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
As we face this new week many of us are not knowing what to do next because of the covid 19 and because of just the situation in our beloved nation with the economy etc, we need to remember that the Lord has promised us that His grace is sufficient for us. The two meanings of the word grace that I know of is: 1) Grace is unmerited favour and 2) Grace is undeserved loving kindness. The Lord loves us so much that He does not have to prove it, does He, because He gave us His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to help us and in fact to pay the price for our incredible debts that we owe one another and the world and most of all God.
In the old days when we were using the old cheque book, if I gave somebody a blank cheque and I signed it, which means he could withdraw any amount of money he required, I did not tell him that I trusted him, my actions proved that.
When Jesus says, “My grace is sufficient for you” He meant it. We don’t have to be concerned about what is going to happen to us this week. What we do need to do is to walk in step with Him and then He will undertake for us.
As I am writing this letter to you it is raining gently on the roof of my prayer room which has no ceiling, and it is like music from heaven. The faithfulness of God. Now maybe some people are still gripped in this drought, but remember every drought ends with rain, the Lord will not forsake you or me.
Jesus bless you as you have a wonderful week.
