He Will Do It For You

It is Saturday, 3rd October 2020, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan with a thought for the day.
If we go to the Psalms, Psalm 37 and verse 5 - I believe that was Dr David Livingstone’s favourite verse – it says:
“Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He will bring it to pass.”
He will act on our behalf if we put our trust in Him.
Give God the right to direct your life today and He will indeed pull it off for you.
He will do whatever needs to be done.
Remember, Jesus cares for you and He cares for me.
In this lockdown time, when there is so much confusion, just cast your cares upon Jesus because He cares for you. 1 Peter, Chapter 5 and verse 7.
I remember like it was yesterday, we had that massive tent on the farm. Remember, there were 30,000 men inside and 30,000 men outside.
We had fully extended ourselves.
We had nothing left in the kitty, not even a cent, and the organising committee came to me and they said, “We need more speakers.”
I said, “We don’t have any more budget.”
They said, “If they can’t hear the message, what is the point in having the meeting.
Reluctantly, I went to the Lord and said, “Lord, we need more money.”
And I said, “Go ahead”, by faith, “and get the extra speakers.”
A few more 30 ton rigs arrived on the farm with banks of speakers.

You know, at that same time, the Lord was talking to a sheep farmer and he was told to sell some of his fat lambs. He sold them. He sent the money straight to us.
It was the exactly the correct amount, not over and not under.
He cares for you!
You need to cast your cares upon Him today.
Just tell Him what you need. Leave it in His hands and carry on.
And just in closing, Matthew Chapter 7 and verse 9, Jesus says:
“Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?”
And then the Lord goes on to say how much he loves us more than any earthly father. Just cast your cares upon Him and He will do it for you!
