It is 28th November 2020, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for the day.

If we go to the Book of Romans, Romans Chapter 8 and verse 31:

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

The opposition of unbelievers and satan himself shall never succeed since God is for us.

It reminds me of that little, small, puny traffic officer who steps out onto the highway and puts his hand up and stops a thirty ton truck carrying timber or some heavy cargo, in its tracks.

That driver puts on brakes, he puts on his flashes and he pulls over instantly, and this little man walks up and he asks for his license and does a complete thorough check.

He is wearing a badge on his cap you see, and he is representing the whole nation.

Now, if that driver decides to drive over the traffic officer or won’t stop, he is literally taking on the whole government of the nation.

When that little man takes his uniform off, of course, he is completely powerless.

I want to say to you this morning, that God is on our side and we cannot possibly lose.

The Book of Joshua, Chapter 23 and verse 10:

“One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you. Therefore take careful heed to yourselves, that you love the Lord your God.”

Oh my dear friend today, keep on your uniform and you will never lose the battle.

As soon as you take off that uniform, as soon as you compromise your stand for The Lord, you are powerless.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and He will take care of every single one of your challenges.

You will have that same authority as that traffic officer who has the whole government behind him.

If Christ is for you, you have the victory!
