Wipe Away Those Tears Today
It is 8th December 2020, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for the day.
If we go to the Book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible, chapter 7 and verse 17:
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
No more sorrow. No more weeping in Heaven. God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
If we look at John, chapter 20 and verse 15, Jesus in the garden, said to Mary Magdalene:
“Woman, why are you weeping?’
Oh my dear friend, this morning maybe you are fearful?
Maybe this Covid 19 is taking a toll of you and you are weeping, and you are saying, “Angus, what does the future hold?
Christmas is around the corner and I will be alone. I will not be with my loved ones.”
Or maybe, “My business has collapsed. I don’t know what 2021 holds for me.” And you are weeping.
Well, Jesus says, He is not dead. He is very much alive in fact, so why are we distressed?
You know, one of the darkest moments in my entire life was when my little nephew fell off the tractor I was driving, and he was killed.
I wept so much that I had no tears left for days and months.
And then I got a telephone call from my brother, Fergus.
One day, he said, “Angus, I had a dream, a vision, in the middle of the night.
I had a vision and I saw my little son, Alaister, and he was running towards me . He was so happy.
He was running towards me and his face was glowing. He was running through a field of emerald green grass, and I asked him if he wanted to come back to us?
And he answered, “No dad, I am waiting for you.” He said to me, “Angus, he gave me such peace. I know that he is safe with Jesus”.
Wipe away those tears today my dear friend because Jesus is coming back very, very soon.
Look up, because your redemption draws very near.
Have a blessed day as you wait for the coming of The Lord.
God bless you and goodbye.
