Feeling A Little Isolated Today?

Are you maybe feeling a little lonely, a little isolated today?

Well, I think that is the case for everyone in the world.

I want to speak to you today about prayer.

You know the disciples came to Jesus and they said to The Lord, “Lord, please, teach us how to pray.”

And prayer is just communication with God.

It’s speaking to The Lord.

Early this morning, I have already been speaking to The Master and I really believe that He wants me to encourage you to build your relationship with Him by speaking to Him.

There is no formal way to speak to God.

God is your friend who sticks closer than a brother.

You can speak to Him while you are walking in the garden; while you are sitting in your flat; you can speak to Him on a journey; you can speak to Him in any situation you find yourself in.

He is always available.

He is one phone call away.

He says in Jeremiah Chapter 33 and verse 3, “Call unto Me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things, of which you do not know.”

That is the telephone number for Jesus.

Jeremiah 333

The disciples came to Jesus and they said, “Lord, please teach us how to pray.”

And this is the most beautiful prayer that has ever been prayed and every morning, before Jill and I get out of bed, we pray this prayer together.

I would like to lead you in this prayer, if you will pray with me.

We are going to pray The Lord’s Prayer. Let us pray together:

Our Father in Heaven,
hallowed be Your Name.
Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is The Kingdom, and the Power and the Glory,
Forever and ever
Amen.

That is a complete prayer.

Do not be fearful, do not be lonely, do not be afraid.

He promised us He will never leave us and He will never forsake us.

Hebrews Chapter 13 and verse 5.

Have a wonderful day.
