Christ In You, The Hope Of Glory

Are you ready to face the new week?

Well if you go to the Book of 2 Corinthians, Chapter 6 and verse 16, this is what the Word of God says:

“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”

And then Colossians Chapter 1 verse 27 says:

“…Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

What a wonderful blessing and of course, a great responsibility, to think that this week, the Lord Jesus Christ is going to walk with you.

He will be with you, wherever you go and whatever you do.

John G Lake was an American evangelist that came out to South Africa, many, many years ago.

He started the Apostolic Faith Mission and the AGS Church, and he said when you get up in the morning, look in the mirror when you are getting dressed and say to the person who is facing you in the mirror, ”Wherever that man or woman goes today, God is going with them”, and then go out and face the world.

If Christ is in you, you never need to be lonely or afraid or confused.

Just speak to Him and He will direct you but remember at the same time, wherever you go, He is going with you.

So you need to be careful of unsavory relationships, going into dodgy places, having unsavory conversations, watching movies or movie clips that would not bring glory to God.

But when God walks with you, He gives you peace, He gives you joy, He gives you love.

He gives you confidence and He gives you the ability to face whatever comes your way this week.

He gives you a purpose for life.

So as you go out today, remember that The Lord Jesus Christ is going with you and enjoy your day.

God bless you and goodbye.
