Be Ready

“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Luke 12:14

We need to keep short accounts with men and with God. We need to stand, that is the word - Stand. Ephesians 6:14, put the armour of God on and stand for the battle is the Lord’s and the Lord is coming back very soon. No man knows the day or even the hour, not even Jesus Himself. Matthew 24:36

But you see, a good farmer knows the seasons of the year. When the fig tree blossoms, we know that summer is coming. Mark 13:28-29 says:

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near—at the doors!”

We can see the signs everywhere, the Lord is not coming soon - He is on His way! Our champion is coming back to fetch us and He is coming with all His angels, in glory!

I remember a very well-known Gospel singer, Keith Green, he died at the age of 29 I think - He had a plane crash. But you know, he was dramatically converted from drug addiction to singing the Gospel. And I always remember he said, “If it has taken the Lord one day to make this earth which is very beautiful, and He is taking 2000 years to make Heaven, we are living in a garbage can!”

I want to say to you today, be ready - the Lord is coming for His bride.
