The Way He Made You

Very good morning to you! It is Wednesday morning, 16th of February, the year 2022. And this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for the day.

“Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.”

Psalm 100:3

Remember, God does not make mistakes, oh no! He has created us in His very own image. God does not make junk, you cannot be dissatisfied with yourself - We are one of a kind. Do you know that there is no one in the whole world (I think there are 7 billion people) who have the same fingerprints as you and I have? He knows our finest details. He knows our strengths and He knows our weaknesses. So why do we continually go to every Tom, Dick and Harry when we have a problem - Why not go to The Manufacturer for help? If you happen to own a Land Rover and it is giving you trouble, why would you go to a Land Cruiser agent for help? Now, if we look at Proverbs 8:17, the Lord says:

"I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me.”

Let's go to the Creator of our very selves today, early, and ask Him to sort out that problem that we are having. Whether it be physical, spiritual or mental.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Matthew 7:7

Why is it that we are always so dissatisfied? Ladies, I am talking to the ladies now. Ladies with curly hair always want straight hair and ladies with straight hair always want curly hair. Ladies with blue eyes want brown eyes and those with brown eyes, want green ones. You say, “How do you know?” Well, I have three daughters of my own! Short men want to be tall and tall men want to be shorter. We need to be satisfied with the way God has made us.

That healing evangelist, John G Lake used to say, “When you get up in the morning and you look in the mirror, speak to that person in the mirror and you say to that person that wherever you go today, God is going with you. Then get up, straighten up your shoulders and go and face the day and enjoy it.

God bless you and goodbye.
