Time with Jesus

“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:6-7

Maybe you are feeling a bit lonely this morning, maybe you feel like no one cares for you - Well, Jesus even knows how many hairs are upon your head. You don’t have to be lonely. There is a friend who sticks closer than even a brother, Proverbs 18:24. Jesus cares, He cares so much for us that He even laid His life down to protect us.

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
John 15:13

Talk to Him today, He really wants to hear from you. Tell Him of all your troubles and all your fears. He has lots of time for you. He is never in a rush, He is a very good listener by the way - Isn’t that hard to find these days?”

But to have a good friend, you must be a good friend. You must be friendly. You know, my wife is my best friend here on earth, that’s right! She knows me so well... She knows what food I like to eat, what books I like to read and even what clothes I like to wear. She even knows who my heroes are in the Bible. We can go into a crowded room where there are a lot of people, she can be standing on the one side of the room and me on the other, we just look at each other and we can talk to each other without saying a word. She will tell me, “It's time to go Angus.” It is because we spend time together. Why and how, might we very ask, that these things happen? Because we spend time together.

Spend more time with Jesus today. He has so much more He wants to show you.
