How Are You Feeling?

It is Wednesday morning, 15th June 2022, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today.

If we go straight to Acts 3 and one verse:

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,…”

Acts 3:19

Oh, folks, the Lord means us to live an abundant life.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”

John 10:10

But Jesus said, “I am going to give you life abundantly.” How are you feeling today, are you feeling condemned? Are you feeling like you are a loser? Maybe you are suffering from depression and you just can’t get out of that bottomless pit? Maybe you are feeling guilty because you did something you know was wrong? Well, I want to tell you today that Jesus Christ wants to set you free.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” - The Lord wants to give us a refreshing time, a moment in our lives when we repent and say sorry.

Romans 8:1

I remember that time in my own life - It was the most wonderful time I have ever experienced, when I said, “Lord, I can’t anymore. I want You to please take over.” And I handed it all over to the Master. 1 Peter 5:7, we know that scripture so well... Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. Why don’t you do it today? It's like driving down the highway in a motorcar and you are so tired - Just pull over, get out of the driver’s seat, get into the passenger seat and let the Master drive you. You will be totally refreshed and full of the joy of the Lord. I want to pray for you. Please pray this prayer after me:

Dear Lord Jesus,
Today, I realise I cannot carry this burden any longer. Please take over. I want you to be totally in control of my life, my family, my business and my future.
In Jesus’ Name I ask this
Amen.
