Keep Your Slate Clean

In the book of Hebrews 10:31 the Bible says:

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

This is a very firm statement made by the Lord, that we cannot take God lightly.  Just before that you will see that the Lord has told us very clearly that once we have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and we know the truth, and then we purposely continue to sin, the penalty of that is very severe.  The Lord says He will not allow His son to be crucified twice in effect.  Once He has died, as He has on the cross for our sins, they have been washed away, we need to walk in righteousness and holiness.  We cannot accept the grace and forgiveness of God and then continue in our former lifestyle; He will not tolerate that. 

We really need to seek to walk in holiness, there needs to be a change in our lives.  We need to do a 180 degree turn around, and start walking according to the precepts of God.
