Peace from Within
Early this morning while spending time with Jesus I received a very special reassurance from God that my peace and security is found totally in Him and not in my circumstances, location, or even my financial position.
“I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.”
That is wonderful news for the child of God, no more need for endless striving, for anxious moments, wondering what shall become of my little ones if I am no longer here!
As I’ve heard it said, “I’d rather be in a rowing boat with Jesus at the helm, going around the Cape Horn in a roaring storm, than to be in a huge luxury liner, on a calm lake without Him.”
It is Jesus who is our ultimate peace and source of complete protection, no matter where we might be.
