Just Do It

“Do you not say, there are still four months ...” John 4:35

I write this letter from my hotel room in Canada, as my son and I prepare to return to South Africa today after having had a very successful and truly blessed Mighty Men Conference.

We saw many men repenting and asking Jesus to be Lord of their lives. We saw them being delivered from chains of oppression, set free and totally healed!

Once again, our Lord Holy Spirit emphasized the urgency of the hour which you and I are living in. Please do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today - we really need to redeem the time.

We really have to "Attempt great things for God, and expect great things from God", as William Carey famously said. He and His family took the Gospel to India, at great personal cost, and translated the Bible into many local languages. We are to do things now that we can never do when we are home, in Heaven. Namely, to tell folk that they need to be born again. As Jonathan Cahn said: “Live this day as if your life was over but you were given a second chance to go back. Do now what, in heaven, you can never do again.

Life is but a vapour, here today and gone tomorrow. Let’s not waste any more of it on trivial things which have no value on eternal life. Please, Lord Jesus, teach us to number our days.
