Seek Me and Live

The word of God says in the Old Testament, Amos 5:4 "Seek me and live" then again in verse 6 the Lord says: "Seek the Lord and live." That is one of the most profound statements I've heard for a long time.

Everywhere I go people are desperately seeking for purpose in life, trying desperately to preserve and prolong their days on Earth by taking all kinds of precautions but they forget that the Lord is already allotted the days that we will live on this earth before we were conceived in our mother's womb. So no matter what they do, or what they eat or how they exercise, how they don't exercise nothing will prevent that day when they have been called to go home to heaven. The exact time will take place and it will happen because God never tells lies. Some people are just existing, they are not living - merely existing. There is no joy in their lives, no purpose, no reason for them to get up in the morning - they are merely existing. The Lord says: "Seek Me and live."

We need to start living an abundant life.

We need to live with purpose, with vision and with expectation. We need to live a full life understanding that this is not the trial run, this is the only life we will ever live on this earth and then after that the judgement. Then we shall live forever in eternity with Christ Jesus. Our choice today - the Lord says seek Me and live, do not seek alternatives, quite simply because, there are no other alternatives.

Matthew 6:33 says: "Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added unto you." So you and I must seek the Lord, and live life to the full.
