Prayer and Faith
One of my heroes was George Müller, a German theologian who came to England and got saved. He then started a Children’s Home and said to the Lord that He would never ask for a penny but that he would run the Children’s Home purely by faith. It is stated that more than ten thousand children went through his Children’s Homes without him asking for a penny. What incredible faith! He has inspired my Christian walk for over forty years. His favourite verse was Psalm 37:4 which says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” (NKJV)
In these perilous times in which we are living, where everything is so uncertain, we need to continue to walk and to live daily by Prayer and Faith. Because as George Müller said, ‘prayer and faith can overcome every difficulty.’ He then went on to say, ‘never give up praying until the answer comes.’
I just love that scripture in James 5:16 (NKJV) which says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man (or woman) avails much.” We are going into an era, I firmly believe of full-blown revival in our beloved South Africa, and this is being fuelled by prayer. Just a couple of days ago we had an international prayer meeting for South Africa, one of the highlights of my Christian walk, where men of God from all sectors of society; pastors, businessmen, farmers, sportsmen, politicians, came together and prayed for just over one and a half hours solid. No preaching, no singing, nothing, just prayer and the response we got is overwhelming, where thousands of people were praying together at that time. I really believe there will be a change, it’s already happened in the heavenlies, and it will happen in South Africa in the physical.
Please remember to start living your life by faith and by prayer and then every difficulty that you are experiencing at the moment will be overcome.
Jesus bless you
