Exactness

If we look at the Word of God in the book of Joshua 1:7 (NKJV):

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

CH Spurgeon, that great preacher said, “We must obey the statutes and law of God with all our hearts if we want to prosper.”

We must obey the law with lots of care and thoughtfulness. Most importantly, we may not pick or choose what we want to obey and what we don’t want to obey. If we are going to receive the full blessing of God we have to obey him with all of our hearts. If we are half-hearted, we can only expect a half blessing. Let us obey today with exactness and consistency and then we will receive the prosperity and victory of Christ in our lives.
