A Perfect Way

This morning while reading my Bible, I was led to the scripture found in Psalm 101:2 (NKJV), a Psalm of David:

I will behave wisely in a perfect way.

Then we go to the First Book of Samuel 18:14 (NKJV):

And David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.

It’s not by chance or by luck that someone who is a follower of Jesus Christ succeeds, whether it be in business, whether it be in their family, whether it even be in sport.  When we do things according to God’s statutes, God blesses every one of those situations.

I wish I’d known that before I became a Christian.  I made many mistakes in my life before committing my life fully to Jesus Christ at the age of thirty-two years old.  I want to tell you, bending the rules does not work. There is no such thing as telling white lies. We need to do things God’s way and we need to do it with honour and with all our hearts and the Lord will do the rest.  You know that scripture in Matthew 6:33 (NKJV):

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
