Trust In the Lord

While reading in my quiet time this morning, I read from Psalm 33.16 (NKJV):

No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.

We need to remember in these perilous times in which we are living, we have to put our trust in God.  You know that beautiful scripture that many of us may know off by heart, Psalm 20:7 (NKJV):

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Like never before that scripture is appropriate for us living in the year 2022.  It is God alone who will save us when everything seems to be so unsure, political governments falling by the day and viruses attacking and paralysing the whole world, fuel prices going through the roof and people are despairing like never before.

This is a time for us to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.  He says very clearly in John 16:33 (NKJV):

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Jesus is coming back very soon, lift up your eyes this week and look to the Lord for your help because He will not deceive you, He will not lie to you, and He will be there for you until the very end.

Have a wonderful week.

Jesus bless you
