I Believe
If we look at the Word of God in 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV) the Word says:
I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore speak.
I have realised one thing, if we don’t believe what we are saying to be true, no one will ever listen to us. God answers the prayer of faith, He doesn’t answer prayer. I always say that. People are a bit alarmed because the first thing I say is that God doesn’t answer prayer and then I pause when I am preaching. I see people becoming very unsettled and moving around in their chairs and then I say, but the Lord answers the prayer of faith.
When we tell people about Jesus, we need to be sure that we believe ourselves in what we are preaching, otherwise it does not strike home. Our faith in God is what should motivate others to believe what we are saying. They should see the faith that we have in the Lord in our own lives in order to be persuaded to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
In other words, as they used to say in the world, put your money where your mouth is. Words are cheap, but it’s action that is required. Faith, as I always say, has got feet, it’s a doing word.
So today when we go out and we tell people about Jesus, let us be sure first of all, that we ourselves have no doubt in our hearts about the fact that Jesus Christ is the soon coming King, and that He never makes a mistake and that He never fails and that He is always faithful.
Jesus bless you
