Jesus is Wisdom

Proverbs 4:5-6 (NKJV )

Get wisdom! Get understanding!
Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you;
Love her, and she will keep you.

Wisdom is of more value than rubies and gold, more valuable than anything this world can give us, because another word to spell wisdom by is JESUS.  When we become those who love and fear the Lord, we automatically become wise because He directs our paths. 

I want to say something, most importantly to older people, my age group. Do not think that foolish people are young people who don’t have any wisdom, no, there is no fool like an old fool.  So, we don’t have the right to point fingers at young people. Then to young people, I want to say, don’t despise learning.  I have one regret in life and that is that I didn’t study more when I was younger. But God has been gracious to me and He has given me wisdom in my senior years. Wisdom will keep us from hurting ourselves and wisdom will keep us from hurting other people.  We really need to exercise the heart of God and our lives will become much more pleasant, much simpler and much more effective.

So today, walk in the shadow of God and you will even be perceived as a wise man or woman.
