It's Time To Take Your Inheritance

It is Sunday morning, 18th October, 2020 and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for the day.

If we go to the Book of Joshua, right at the beginning of the Bible - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua!

“Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, “Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.”

This is our time to go forward. The Lord has opened a door for us.

Remember, they say a faint heart never gained a fair maiden.

Maybe there is a young man listening to this thought today who needs to make that proposal. That young maiden won’t wait forever.

Remember, he who hesitates is lost.

We need to start to be more intentional in our ways.

We pass this way but once and then the judgement.

This is not the dummy run. This is the real thing!

I just want to share with you, the Lord has given us a clear, clear word that we need to find a steam train.

Now within three days, I am going down to Cape Town and I am going to find that train, and what is that train going to do?

Well, that train is going to take people - believers who love Jesus, through the countryside into all the small towns, in the rural areas and in the big towns and in the cities.

And we are going to disembark everyday and preach the gospel, go into the hospitals - pray for the sick, go into the schools - tell children they need to be born again.

We are going to go to the sports clubs and tell the sportsmen about Jesus Christ.

We are going to preach the gospel in the streets and then in the evenings we are coming back to the station and there will be a big concert.

We will have the top bands in South Africa there. We will preach the gospel, make the altar call and we are believing for revival.

You see, what The Lord showed me very clearly was, instead of always calling the people to the meeting, we are now going to the people.

We need to start to live our dream!

My dear friends, The Lord told Joshua, “It is time to cross over. It is time to take your inheritance.”

Many of us have been waiting and procrastinating for too long.

Those days are over. We need to get on that train now and we need to start to tell people about the soon coming King and stand against that spirit of fear.

Jesus says, “I have not given you a spirit of fear but of power, of love and of a sound mind.”

Even today, as you rest, contemplate, meditate and think about that promise that God has given you and then go and take it.
