Love One Another

“But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Luke 11:28

That’s right - Hear it and keep it, there is no grey area!
We cannot bend God’s Holy Word. If you want His blessing and His power in your life then you have to obey the Lord. You have to obey the Word of God, there can be no compromise.

Luke 8:21 says very clearly:

“But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.”

Remember, Jesus was teaching and they came and said to Him, “Your mother and your brothers are outside.” He said, “Who are my mother and my brothers but those who obey the word of God.” You know, it is such a wonderful thing, folks, to be a follower of Jesus Christ. You have so many friends right around the world.

Remember, John 13:34:

“A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you…”

I get an invitation often to go to Israel, to Jerusalem. I go down to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth and I am a guest speaker at the Feast of Tabernacles, which is hosted by the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem. It is amazing. There are sometimes up to eighty different nations from all over the world, it's incredible - People from Mainland China, Russia, South America, Africa, Europe - and they all speak different languages, something like 18 interpreters.

But do you know something? I love those people and they love me because of the love of God in us. I have got some people I have known for forty years but I don’t really know them... but these people, I meet them in five minutes, they don’t even speak English and I don’t speak their language but we love each, other in five minutes. Why? Because we have a common denominator and that is love and who is love? God is love.

Do you remember that old chorus, that old hymn we used to sing? A new commandment I give unto you?

A new commandment I give unto you,
that you love one another as I have loved you,
that you love one another as I have loved you.
By this shall all know that you are my disciples,
if you have love one for another;
by this shall all know that you are my disciples:
if you have love one for another.

Go out today and love someone!
