Thankful

A very good morning to you. It is Sunday morning, the 25th of September 2022, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today.

“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man (or woman, or boy or girl) availeth much,” the Lord says.

We need to start to thank Jesus today for what He is about to do. We have just completed a national prayer meeting and now I can hear you saying, “Whereto from here?” Well, we have just got to say thank You.  

We have got to work by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7.) Remember, the Lord’s ear is not thick so that He cannot hear. (Isaiah 59:1). We ask Him, which we have done, and then we start to thank Him for what He is going to do. 

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” 
Matthew 7:7

It is by raw undiluted faith that we thank Him for what He is going to do. Now, some of you maybe don’t know the Lord Jesus’ telephone number. It is found in Jeremiah 33:3: 

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

By faith, we are called unto the Lord as a nation. We have prayed prayers of repentance, recommitment, and deliverance from addiction, sicknesses, depression and broken spirits and in Jesus’ name, we are now thanking Him for the revival that is on its way.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” 
Galatians 6:9

May Jesus bless you as you continue by faith to pray for the nation, your household, your family, and for this world that is so desperate to meet the Man from Galilee, Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
